I was really looking forward to playing this course and it certainly didn’t fail when it came to the views; however, I didn’t feel that the cost of 170 euros was value for money.
When I challenged them on the fee, the assistant in the pro shop told me it will be 200 euro next year!!!
I have played better courses in the UK for a fraction of the cost.
Had an outstanding day, sun splitting the stones. Course is fantastic shape, views spectacular and they say it is a hidden gem- it truly is. We were so fortunate to be guided by Noah, a young local member whose every insight made our day that much more pleasant! He was full of kind encouragement and shared nuisances if the course we would never have had. Rented. Kind and they were top shelf also. We look forward to returning!
Played Dooks on our southwest golf trip and so glad we did. Generous off the tee and very interesting greens make for a very enjoyable day. There is stunning views every holes. Our caddy Eamon did a wonderful job guiding our group. It’s a must play and a little lighter on the pocket than some of the neighbouring courses.
Wonderful golf course but a little off the beaten track. The course is a great challenge for golfers of all abilities and boasts stunning views of the Kerry coast and mountains.
Friendly and helpful staff in the clubhouse where meals and drinks can also be purchased.
One of the better golf courses in Ireland.
Always a great course and clubhouse to visit.
Even better now since the clubhouse layout and decor has been upgraded.
Folks managing the bar and restaurant are always polite and obliging.
All in all, a really good place to visit, particularly on a fine sunny day.
Phenomenal links experience. Can’t beat the view(s). Great customer service and environment. One of my favorites and can’t wait to come back to play this track again.
An absolutely beautiful course, with fantastic staff, and the lads in the club shop and the clubhouse were great, friendly, and helpful. The course is just incredibly relaxed and enjoyable, not out to ruin a scorecard. The scenery was great and beautiful views all around. Looking forward to going back. Plus, it has to have the best crest in golf with the natterjack toad.
Played the course in October after a break of 30 years. It was a joyous experience for myself and my playing partners.
The course was in fantastic condition. The views were magic and the setting tranquil.
The greens were fast and true. A real test of golf, a place where you have to plot your way around.
To the manager, Graham Spring and all the corteous people we met there, thank you. The facilitis were excellent. We will be back in Frebruary, God willing.
